About the Event
Join us starting Sunday, September 11th for a Sunday Morning Forum reflecting on this past summer's church governance events. "The Summer of Polity" will look at the history of the governing bodies of our Church, and explore key takeaways from the recent meetings of the General Convention and the Lambeth Conference. While church governance and polity may sound quite boring, it is far from it! It is up to all Episcopalians and Anglicans to stay informed on the matters of the church. Come learn, dream, and discern where the Holy Spirit might be calling the global church, and how Ascension might be a better part of that work.
This forum will meet every Sunday from 9:30-10:20 AM in the Large Conference Room, starting September 11th. Contact Rev. Jared with any questions.
