Join us for an evening of beautiful music and worship in a beautiful sacred space with Baroque musicians Sasa Sandoval, Lisa Liske, and Barbara Krumdieck, performing “Out of Italy: Baroque Music of the Cello Diaspora”. The concert will be followed by a service of Evensong led by the Parish Choir.

About the Event
Barbara Blaker Krumdieck is a baroque cellist from the San Francisco Bay Area who studied with Phoebe Carrai at the Hilversum Conservatory in the Netherlands. A specialist in 17th- and 18th-century continuo, she has performed and recorded with Concerto Köln, including appearances at the Paris Opera House and Versailles. She is a founding member of Ensemble Vermillian, cellist with Heartland Baroque, and co-founder and personnel director of the North Carolina Baroque Orchestra.
Lisa Liske is a versatile cellist devoted to old, new, and world music, with a special love for the expressive voice of the cello. She performs with Philadelphia’s New River Ensemble and the North Carolina Baroque Orchestra, and has appeared with Emrys Ensemble and Trio Sans Souçi. Lisa teaches students ages 3–adult through her online studio, blending Suzuki training with world-music and creative approaches.
