Throughout Advent, the nave of the church will transform weekly in preparation for the joy of Christmas. It starts with a sparsely decorated church and, as the weeks pass, the light on the Advent Wreath grows along with the anticipatory beauty of the church.

9:30 a.m. — Formation for Children & Adults
(Adult forum: The Origins of Us: An Exploration of Human Evolution)
Wednesday—December 6
5:30 p.m. — Holy Eucharist & Healing
6:00 p.m. — Supper
6:45-7:15 p.m. — Advent Evening Worship
Join us in the chapel for a tranquil order of worship that utilizes the classic form of Evening Prayer set to music, intended for congregational singing. The psalms and canticles are easy to learn, enjoyable to sing, and beautifully suited to an evening service of prayer in Advent, when darkness waits the dawn and we look to the coming of Jesus.
Advent II—Sunday, December 10
8:00 & 10:30 a.m. — Holy Eucharist

At this service, we will pray, sing, and comfort one another. In the long dark nights of winter, memories of past pain and present suffering can feel overwhelming. We will acknowledge our pain and rest in the presence of God and one another.
