Easter at Ascension

7:00 p.m. -- Easter Vigil & First Easter Eucharist

This is one of the oldest, most soul-stirring, and important liturgies of the church year. We begin in the garden around a small fire. From the fire, the Paschal Candle, which will preside over all services during the Easter season, is lit. We light our candles and proceed to hear stories of salvation from scripture and renew our baptismal vows. The first “Alleluia!” of Easter is joyously proclaimed, and we celebrate the Holy Eucharist in the name of the risen Christ.

Easter Sunday, March 31

8:00 a.m. — Festive Holy Eucharist

8:45 a.m. — Easter Breakfast (donations accepted)

9:30 a.m. — Easter Egg Hunt

10:30 a.m. — Festival Holy Eucharist (at church & online)
