Loving Our Neighbor
Below is an ongoing list of ministries that the people of the Church of the Ascension are involved in. Feel Free to click on a banner to learn more about the organization, and how you can get involved in more actively loving your neighbor!
safeharbor Ascension Parish is currently working along side of St Alban’s and Epiphany to deepen and strengthen our ministry together and our outreach in the community.  We have come together as the CEOC (Catawba Episcopal Outreach Committee) and chosen Safe Harbor Rescue Mission as our ministry focus.  We have adopted one of the 16 apartments that they are renovating for women in transition.  The apartment is being completely redone and we are in the process of furnishing it.  We have also received a grant from our Diocese for Safe Harbor to assist them in the development of their business enterprise.  They are in the process of opening the ReSource Gallery and Warehouse and our $15,000 grant is being used as seed money to help them get up and running.
