Welcome to the Episcopal Church of the Ascension

  • Sunday, April 20, 12:00 - 7:00 pm Ascension's Boy Scout Troop 726 will host a spaghetti dinner to raise funds for scholarships. Tickets are being sold from either scout members or the Men's Group. The meal will be available immediately after the Sunday church service. Tickets are $7 for 1, $14 for 2, $20 for 3, or $25 for 4. Donations will also be accepted.

  • At the Annual Parish Meeting, (May 18, following the 10:30 am service) we will vote on by-laws for the parish. Click this link to view a copy of the proposed bylaws.

  • In the event of severe weather, Sunday morning services will be held unless all major roads are closed.
    The church office will close and weekday parish activities including Wed. Night service and dinner will be cancelled if Hickory City Schools close.
