CHRISTIAN FORMATION FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH
Great Stories of the Bible
Pre K-Grades 5
Sunday, 10:30 a.m.
Come check out the Sunday School classroom and experience the Bible
Stories like never before. Gather around the “Tree of Life” and
listen to the story of creation. . . hop aboard the ark and learn all
about the flood. The course designed and taught by our Director
of Children and Youth Ministry will engage all the senses and many
different learning styles. Grades 6 to 12 will help out in the
classroom on a rotating basis (contact Roger if you are interested in being a youth leader for Sunday School).
SUNDAY MORNING ADULT FORMATION AT 9:30 A.M.
I. Lectionary Bible Study – Conference Room This class meets
weekly to study the scripture readings appointed for each Sunday.
The class is led by members of the group. All are welcomed and
encouraged to attend this class and dive more deeply into the scripture
readings of the day.

JUNIOR CHOIR
Boys and Girls Grades 2-5
Wednesdays, 5 p.m.-6 p.m.
Every
Wednesday evening, the children of Ascension “make a joyful noise”
while learning about music with our Music Director, Cory
Westby. Cory leads the children as they explore the joys of music
through singing, playing instruments, movement, and many other ways!
ASCENSION PARISH CHOIR
All Parishioners (High School through Adult) Wednesdays, 7 p.m.
If you love to sing, there is a place for you in the Parish
Choir. Cory and the current choir members would love to add some
new voices to the ranks. All singers are welcome; music-reading
ability is a plus but not required!
THURSDAY MORNING STUDY GROUP
Join Karla every Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. to noon for Bible Study.
THEOLOGY ON TAP
7 p.m. on 1st and 3rd Thursday each month
Group meets in the lounge or in parishioner homes for fellowship and
theological conversation. Skeptics, seekers, deeply rooted. .
